A deadly second wave of coronavirus is devastating India. They make vaccines for the world, but few Indians have been inoculated. My photo of this woman, made at an earlier time, shows her offering prayers at a holy site with the traditional flowers, the little copper vessel for water, offerings in the plastic bag, etc. It might well be symbolically appropriate for the current plight of her family and countrymen in today’s crisis.
